CINDRICH

Agent

Cindrich continues to pull a lot of strings in the player movement game that has seized the NFL.

He has negotiated more than $120 million worth of contracts in the first two years of free agency. Cindrich is an agent who is concerned about players' financial awareness and careers after football. He twice has surveyed college seniors on their attitudes toward and perceptions of the economic side of the NFL.

Athletes From Two Toughest Sports Unite

Oklahoma City, OK
-- With the sport of bull riding expanding its audience through broadcasts on NBC, CBS, ESPN, ESPN 2, The Outdoor Life Network and The Outdoor Channel beginning this fall (Hollywood Reporter - 5/1/02), it's no surprise that high-profile sports agencies would soon seize upon the opportunity to represent and market these rawhide-tough athletes. Mainstream sports have traditionally been the focus of powerful agencies due to regular national exposure leaving room for specialized houses to handle athletes from other popular sports including rodeos, motor sports, horse racing, volleyball and soccer.

Today's announcement at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum of a joint venture between two sport powerhouses, Oklahoma City-based, Cowboy Sports Agents (www.csarodeo.com) and Pittsburgh-based Cindrich & Company (www.cindrich.com), marks the first move into a sport known for its "cowboy" business acumen by one of the premiere agencies within the NFL, NBA and MLB.

Drawing upon the surging popularity of what Lloyd's of London describes as the "World's Most Dangerous Sport" and another American tradition that moved from cable to network television, NASCAR, the sport of bull riding is poised to surge out of the chute to join other athletes in the high-stakes game of high-profile endorsements.

"As the sport continues to grow via broader exposure," explained Mark Nestlen, president of Cowboy Sports Agents, "a direct comparison can be made between the financial explosion that NASCAR experienced with expanded endorsements and licensing opportunities once their broadcasts were added to NBC's schedule. Through this joint venture, our athletes can take advantage of the skill that a respected agency like Cindrich & Company can offer while maintaining knowledgeable representation of the sport's uniqueness."

According to Ralph Cindrich, Founder, Cindrich & Company, "We expect to utilize our experience and expertise in athlete representation to capitalize on the opportunities that will arise because of the growing popularity of the sport."

Cindrich & Company represents the NFL's highest paid player in the NFL, Brian Griese of the Denver Broncos. Other NFL clients include Tarik Glenn, Jeff Blake, James Farrior, Jeff Christy and retired players and current broadcasters with ESPN , Mark May and Trev Alberts, among others.

Cowboy Sports Agents will maintain autonomy with offices in Oklahoma City and serve as a division of Cindrich & Company. Nestlen, who remains president of CSA, will be added to Cindrich & Company's advisory council as well as be involved in client recruitment and endorsement negotiations.
